Time to update on a few of the ZX2's here...
I sold the Silver 02 a few months ago...
Mineral Gray 01 got backed into at work by a vendor. He has no insurance and is dragging his feet fixing it (He does mobile paint/body repair).
Bought a 2000 S/R a few months ago, now I have to replace the driver's window. Some lowlife decided to shoot out that window, one on my truck and 2 of my neighbors windows.
Got a decent paint rear bumper for the Toreador Red 98 (from an 01, so it just says ZX2 on the bumper).
Put the Bright Red 99 parts car in storage...
More as I get things done...

Surprisingly it only took a little over half a tank one way so once before I left both places about $30 total in gas then $60 on food and stuff there

Well I guess no one had harnesses. I may end up making my own little by little. By the time I get it running it will probably be caught up on the other parts it needs too lol

Just running my shop and working at walmart overnight... would really like to take the dash apart and fix the electrical issues with my old wiring job, and fix the power port... I also need to drive it a bit and get the lower A/C line fixed so I can get the A/C working again...

Busy trying to catch up around home and get some work done on my fleet... Had to deal with a guy yesterday about some damage he did to 1 of my 01's. He backed into it on the street and had no insurance. He does mobile body work (was working at the dealership I work for), but he's been dragging out the repairs (happened 6 months ago).
Here's the latest on the fleet
Toreador Red 98 just got a replacement a/c line and hope to get it together this week. Still trying to get time to do my rear disc conversion
Light Denim Blue 98 Have to get the hood repainted, the clear coat is starting to peel... Have an 03 bumper I'm thinking about putting on it
Dark Denim Blue 99 need to fix a door lock issue in the pass door and think about getting it painted (clear coat is shot).
Red 99 parts car, in storage for now
Red 00 S/R have had time to do anything to it yet. did get a window in it (some low life shot out the driver's window of it and my pickup. They also got 2 of my neighbors).
Toreador Red 01 need to get it started (been a couple months) and check the tires (has a slow leak on lf)
Mineral Gray 01 This is the one the idiot backed into. Have other work to do to it when he finishes the hood and front bumper.

Sold my beloved 2004 Mazda 6 that is I'm excellent condition to my mother.
Selling my 2010 Mazda 3.
Looking to buy a 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback. First one I drove, I loved it. When signing the papers, my wife goes "look at that". Here the bottom of the door was all rotted out. Car had 17k on it. Had to back out of the dealership deal. Hopefully I can find another one now. This was a grand touring fully loaded too.

Took mine to a local Body & Fender guy for an estimate to make new rockers to replace the rusted ones on my car, and paint the underside with Rhino Lining, then paint the rest of the car with a 3 stage paint job.... The estimate was about what I expected... $5,000.00.
Anyone know where I can get a pair of ZX2 outer rocker panels that are not rusted out?

pulled my daily into the shop this morning to change sway bar bushings. in the process both end links broke and need to be replaced and the bolt for the driver side swaybar bushing broke off in the subframe. the best part is i thought i had end links in the shop but i was sadly mistaken.
so ill spend today and tomorrow drilling a hole in the subframe to get under that bolt and drill it out, hopefully without beating up the threads so i can just run another bolt into there. we'll see how this goes lol

so the driver side front bolt is above and right next to one of the studs for the front to rear crossmember, could make this a bitch. i really dont want to drop the subframe.

Slept on it weighing my options. Only other way to get this out withput drilling was to cut a slit in the top of the exposed threads and try to screw it back into the subframe in the hopes that it would just run through.
Well that didnt work, whacked on it with an impact driver and it wont budge, despite getting the bolt a quarter of the way out before it broke yesterday.
Oh well, the crossmembers are dropped and I'm gonna get to drilling....

Got underneath that broken bolt, used an extended length carbide burr to flatten out the bottom of that bolt, but now i need some long drill bits to drill through this thing. I made a mcmaster carr order for some long drill bits but going to check local stores this morning if theres any way to get this done today.....

Geez that sounds like a pain if it breaks. Is it due to being all rusted out?
