Finally gave mine a bath, it was looking bad even in the dark. And whatever windsheild washer/bug remover fluid I got from O'Reilly's has left hard to remove streaks across my hood, roof and back window.
Does anybody else's windshield spray nozzles siphon fluid out at highway speed or dribble for a while after using them? I know there is a check ball in line just before each nozzle, and I've replaced both of mine (with j/y pieces) but it still continues to siphon

driving turbo car to and from work this week...silver car needs timing belt, awaiting parts. green car overheated on my fiancee on sunday, coolant was low and trans lines were leaking trans was really low. seems to be holding transmission fluid, a little worried about the coolant, this thing has 250k+ miles and is probably a good candidate for a head gasket

fiancee's green car needs a radiator fan, fan connector melted on one terminal and thermostat housing leaking at head. hopefully its just the gasket, I dont have any more extra 98 tstat housings....

Only cosmetic thankfully, and not terribly bad. But goddamn it, people are why we can't have nice things, fuck people....

put the trans back together and slapped it in the car. swapped in a daikin clutch disc and centerforce pressure plate I had lying around. i might swap in my old zx2ner header and s/r computer tomorrow or wednesday. this thing could use a new set of front strut mounts too....

Strut mounts are always fun to change out, not something I enjoy doing. Not a hard job.

Changed rear turn signal bulb. Dropped screw, took longer to find screw than change bulb.

SILVER CAR: Been driving and playing with intake cam gear settings. im seeming to like approx "5 degrees" advanced on a COMP cams adj cam gear. built a MIL eliminator and its been working so far.
im probably gonna need to build an exhaust for this car now. its hella loud under certain conditions with the long tube and only the factory resonator.
edit: oh yeah, just looked at the car today and realized that noise i heard in the automatic car wash last night was my front license plate getting ripped off of the car.
TheEvilZX2: Sitting, the silver car got all the love while i was off last week. MegaSquirt install as I get to it.

That's why my car doesn't go to automatic car washes. Requested a quote for rust repair on my ZX2 from a local guy that does body restoration on cars.

Missing the car. Have driven many faster/better handling cars in recent years but there is just something about these cars I enjoy. Maybe it's that I can do anything I want to it all in the name of fun and performance and learn on it. But I do miss it
