This is a how to on swapping for a auto dim/temp/comp mirror out of a GM.
Pin one goes to a 12 volt source I used a add a fuse link for mine. pin two just find a good ground for it. Pin 3,4,5 you can pull the pins out as they will not be need in this install.
Pin 6 and 7 goes to the temp sensor out side for what I can remember it don't matter which way the wires goes to the temp sensor.
I ran the wire throw the wiring firewall and the senor is installed in front of the radiator. The wires form the mirror go under the head liner and down the a pillar. Pictures below to give you a better idea.
There are three different temp sensors you can also get form GM, that should work just fine.
Last but not lest how it looks in the car.
Any question feel free to ask its been a few years but I will do my best to help out.

once you do put it in, in order to orient the compass, drive in circles a few times until it's showing the right orientation.
