not familiar with the WSS package chevy. if zx2 is manual and cavalier is auto my money is on ZX2. 'unless its a supercharged z24, ive only ever ran into one of those though
if both automatic probably close race
if chevy manual and zx2 auto, then chevy takes it im thinking

Both are manual and are stock 4 cylinders. The WSS was only a body kit from what Iβve been told nothing special. Both have around the same miles (160,000-175,000). Itβs been interesting to see how both these cars have survived.

I think with both being manuals it would be a good matchup for a driver's race. Zx2 being lighter and less HP than *some* of the Chevy 4cyl engines, they had a few different options IIRC

I jokingly refer to cavaliers as "cadaverliers"
That being said, I witnessed a horribly maintained cavalier, changed the horribly old and black (don't remember if it was sludgy) oil on it. The power steering fluid looked like chocolate milk, etc. That thing kept on trucking.

I like to call them "can-of-beer"s π
I still see a few on the road occasionally, see more ZX2s tho π

Saw a cavalier on route 1 in VA today heading south on my way to work. That's all π

One of my ex girlfriends had a cavolier, I changed the oil in hers once it was a royal P.I.T.A. to work on, the oil drain plug was so close to the frame, that you couldn't use a socket wrench on it. and the oil filter was also right up against the firewall, Then again hers had the optional V6.

ah, I've only worked on the chevy 4 cylinders (and 1 or 2 truck v8s), they're super easy to change the oil on since the oil filter is right on top, you just need a rather large socket to take the cap off. It's even super cheap to buy the ACDelco oil filters that come with a new cap, o-rings, and filter. The starter was a bit of a pain though. The starter was on a cobalt though, not a cavalier.

the cavalier will be faster. bigger engine helps win this round. That plus i used to have a sunfire and it was faster than the zx2
