I just read an old article online that an SVT head can be used on our motors? The intake VCT needs to be deleted and you need to modify the intake manifold? I believe the cam profiles are more aggressive and head flows better.
Curious if anyone has done this.

yeah a bunch of people have. if you go megasquirt you can use the vct on the intake for power (vs the exhaust as on the zx2) hell you probably can tune it with SCT PRP, all the tables and values would have to be completely remapped and figured out.
what would be REALLY cool would be a head with VCT on both cams for the zetec. alot of figuring and tuning would need to be done but would be badass
