Any cell phone gurus here?
I love my LG G6 but I know it's at the end of its life soon. I'd go with a LG G8 but it doesn't have 5g (not sure big deal).
I'm not looking to spend anything crazy but have a phone for a couple of years. I bought my phone off ebay for 300 and it was a year old.
Any suggestions?

Bit the bullet and went for a phone that came out more than a year and half ago. New phones are stupid huge and prices are out of control. I'm ok being a year or so behind.

I looked at pixel but they are just too tall for me and lack some of the high end qualities.

Really? The new pixel is smaller than my current LG G8 thinq...
What kinda features you looking for?
I'm somewhat of a phone snob, this LG G8 was the first phone ive ever bought that isnt rootable and flashable, but it really has been a good phone.
We werent about to be paying over a G for some damn phones (for me and the wife) and the pixel 5 was perfect price. Not the highest end processor but plenty for what i need, plus it's rooted now.
Also, its technically googles flagship phone right now isnt it?
Its 5G capable, the phone itself can be a wireless charger...battery life is amazing (I use it within the house, it has all my stuff installed but mostly sits around until I switch to it) but with minimal use I'm seeing like 5 days to a week of battery charge. Id have to ask the wife how hers has been for daily useage.
