Does anyone else ever question his sanity when looking at the dipstick on the ZX2 at the end of a change interval and see no oil missing? My car has over 216k miles and burns nothing. My Honda XR burns .5qt in 1k miles. My Ranger leaks about that much too. These ZX2s are just awesome.

no AC or PS (turbo car) not bad really
with ac and PS (both our dailys) all that shit is in the way and needs taken loose and supported and is then in your way the rest of the time. not a whole lot worse but ive still just been being lazy lol

the hardest part about a windage tray gasket replacement is removing the cat from the car. I know i have to replace a windage tray on the black car but i will just wait until I have to replace the clutch next time (it will be easier since everything will already be off).

ahh yes, the cat. i havent had the factory exhaust on the theevilzx2 in more years than i care to try and remember, makes that alot easier too without having to mess with the stock stuff lol.
my daily has a zxtuner 4-2-1 that was just put in a year or so ago so that should be easier to work with than the factory cat...wifes car exhaust is all stock tho so that may become a problem when i go to take it apart.

I guess I'll do new windage tray gasket when I swap engines, then. It sounds like the job can be a pain lol.

Exhaust bolts are probably the biggest pain. It can definitely be done in car. I ended up having to do it twice while i was off a couple weeks ago. Lol you'll only have to do it once if you make sure the gasket doesnt move while youre installing

How bad are the windage tray gaskets to do? It really took alot of time buddy theevilzx2 has AC and PS deleted, that whole bracket was removed. sure saves a bit of time like that. i did my daily (with AC and PS) not long ago, still need to do my wifes zx2 (with AC and PS). when i took the windage tray off my daily i spent the extra time to clean it thoroughly with a wire wheel and remove all the dark built up sludge that was on the inside. my daily has a bit over 200k, the wifes car has over 300k so will probably need the same.
