Was DREWlanning on the other forum shortened it to DREW now, from north eastern Pennsylvania. Had a white zx2 that I had started to swap somethings around on and play with a bit but got in an accident with it (low speed slid on black ice doing maybe 30mph over a ditch and tackled a tree) and thus that car got stripped down and sent to the crusher. Front frame was messed up and while I was able to get that straight the rust has set it pretty good and it just wasn’t worth it. So now there is a project that Im working on! Picked up a shell a year or so ago and have started to put it together . Actually just ordered new springs for it 😁 will be a slow build as Im newly married and have two trucks Im putting back on the road and have to take priority but its a car I’m enjoying getting to work on in my own time and in my own way

I'm doing OK, but I bumped the GPS in the ZX2 and broke the gauge surround. So now I have a new project for the ZX2. I plan to use the broken gauge surround to make a wood (Covered) one with a built in Garmen GPS mount. Eric was good enough to allow me to have a loner until I get the new project completed.

Have moved the car to a new home at the house we just bought! soon it will take up residence indoors. Also if anyone happens to have an interior and engine bay wiring harness they want to get rid of Id be interested. last owner did a wire tuck and lots of custom wiring not all of which has me exactly comfortable with. I can solder and am quite good at wiring repair but Id rather not try to untangle this mess

Second option I have been looking into with the wiring is just wiring it up for megasquirt and making my own loom basically. the more I look at the wiring done by the last owner the more scared I am that it will, could, probably end up in a ball of fire and waist all my time and effort. IDK yet still thinking. Anyone ever try?
