We are racing a 2000 ZX2 in Champcar and would like to swap the rear drum brakes for discs. I have looked all over trying to find an easy way to do this and keep finding a thread put out by teamzx2 but the link is dead. Does anyone still have the teamzx2 information or do they know how to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the site! Somehow all the rear disc threads have been posted to the "Newbs" section and not here... :-) Check this post out: evilzx2s.com/thread/49/rear-disc-brakes - I think it answers all your questions! IDK what rules you have to follow, but KAI (kainjection.com) earlier this year released their adapters to convert a rear drum knuckle to use factory disc caliper and rotors (and weighs less than the disc knuckle!) and also has provisions for a second caliper, I think wilwood calipers with their adapter (i didnt see the adapter when ordering on the pre-sale, need to contact them and see if i can buy it seperately) link here : kainjection.com/products/rear-disc-conversion-bracket

If that link doesn't give you enough info, I will have a write up from zx2.org. It might be a challenge to load it on here.

that eccentric for the rear is bent. That part should be flat so it can adjust the toe. good video. This should help a lot of people out who ask about this swap
