I have a 98 zx2 that keeps blowing the fuel injection fuse but only under hard acceleration. I have checked wires, injectors, and replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor. Just curious where to check next and also could the alternator cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like this what we know: -Fuse blows when a high load demand is requested from injectors -Harness appears to be good -No short to ground as it is consistent -No open ground as it wouldn't short out fuse but lose power
What we don't know: -Are all injectors ohm out the same -Have you wiggled the harness when in driveway reving motor.

Which fuel injection fuse is blowing?
The 30amp in the battery junction box, or the 10amp in the central junction box?

The reason I ask is the 30 amp fuse in the battery junction box protects the air bags, engine controls and the generator (alternator) And the 10 amp fuse in the central junction box protects the ho2s (oxygen sensor) and the evap purge sensor. So depending on which fuse is blowing is going to dictate which circuits you'll need to start checking.

I automatically went with injectors but your right this could be a variable from something else.

This is me right now on the side of the road in my daily.
Pretty sure the alternator is to blame in my case. I'll find out when I get it home
