I was driving the ZX2 yesterday and these error codes popped up code P1381 - Camshaft position timing over advanced bank 1 and P1132 lack of HO2-s-11 switches -sensor indicates rich - bank 1
I think it may be time for a new O2 sensor and cam shaft sensor, other opinions?

The o2 sensor codes may be because of the cam codes if it's not fuelling accurately

how long ago was it we redid your timing? you dont drive that thing a whole lot so i doubt the timing belt has stretched enough already for the timing to actually be out...any chance your throttle cable is loose and possibly smacking the sensor causing a false reading?
as for the O2 code, lack of switching can be because the car is either running really rich or the sensor is on its way out.
if it was me, id put a new O2 sensor on it and clear the codes to see if the cam position code come back

That's what I am thinking too, and while I'm at it may as well get a wideband...

New timing belt and VCT were installed about 3,000 miles ago...
I was using the cruise control when the errors popped up. I reset the codes. I have not received the wide band O2 yet, but drove the car yesterday without the codes reappearing.

hmm 3k miles shouldnt be enough time for the belt to stretch enough to do that. unless...how many of those miles were before we redid your timing at my place? i think we just reset the timing and didnt replace the belt, right?
idk, id keep an eye on it. normally ill start seeing that pop up intermittently before the belt actually does need replaced with otherwise no ill effects...

I don't know it's been a while since we did that, but I do know it wasn't long after I had the new belt installed. I had not gotten the buick yet.
Ordered the MTXL plus wide band today...
Just wondering did you need to have the bung changed in the exhaust or does the wide band use the same one that the standard O2 for the ZX2 uses?

wideband o2 uses same oxygen sensor bung as a narrowband, same same.
now the way im using it is different than some might be familiar with. the innovate widebands have a narrowband and wideband outputs from the wideband controller. i replaced my factory upper sensor with the wideband, ran the narrowband output back to the factory ecu on the upstream sensor wire, and the wideband output i use for datalogging with the SCT software/hardware.
if you didnt want to mess around with all that you could just have another o2 bung welded in and just wire it up on its own

I'm planning to hook it up the same way you have yours, did you need any additional cables?

only additional item you'll need is a resistor to trick the computer that the O2 heater is still in place and operating. I'll have to get you the specs on that. Since youve got PRP you can probably turn off the front O2 heater circuit in the tune, but ive just not done that yet so i cant say it works for sure but should.
